At Carien Lee Photography, every session tells a different story. From documenting the anticipation of a growing family to capturing the tiny details of a newborn baby, and even helping local businesses showcase their products online — photography plays an important role in preserving moments and promoting brands.

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph a mix of beautiful sessions including maternity photography, newborn portraits, and product photography for Uber Eats listings in Bunbury and surrounding areas.

Maternity Photography – Celebrating the Journey to Motherhood

Maternity sessions are such a special way to capture the excitement and anticipation before a new baby arrives. These sessions are usually photographed between 30–34 weeks, when baby bumps are beautifully round and mums are still comfortable enough to move around.

During maternity sessions I focus on creating natural, timeless portraits that highlight the connection between parents and their soon-to-arrive baby.

Many families choose outdoor locations around Bunbury and Dalyellup, while others prefer a more intimate studio style session.

Maternity photography is a wonderful way to document the beginning of a new chapter for your family.

Newborn Photography – Capturing Those Precious Early Days

Newborn photography sessions are best done when babies are 5–14 days old, when they are still very sleepy and easy to pose.

These sessions are slow-paced and baby-led, ensuring that your little one is comfortable and safe throughout the session.

Newborn sessions often include:

• Beautifully posed baby portraits

• Parent and sibling photos

• Soft wraps, blankets and simple props

• Natural and timeless styling

Those early newborn days pass so quickly, and professional photography ensures these memories are preserved forever.

Product Photography for Uber Eats & Local Businesses

Professional photography is essential for businesses selling food online. Platforms like Uber Eats rely heavily on images to attract customers and encourage orders.

Recently I worked with a local Bunbury business to create product photography for their Uber Eats menu, capturing their dishes in a way that highlights colour, texture and freshness.

Good food photography helps businesses:

• Increase online orders

• Improve menu presentation

• Build a stronger brand image

• Stand out from competitors

High-quality product images can make a huge difference when customers are deciding what to order.
