Sleepy, sweet and so small

Dulcie slept peacefully through most of her session, giving us plenty of soft, quiet portraits to treasure. Those tiny fingers, little toes and sleepy faces change so fast, and these are the details you'll want to look back on.

Some of my favourite images from Dulcie's gallery are the simple moments: Mum and Dad holding their baby close, a gentle kiss on her head, and the look of love between them. Newborn photography is about your baby, but it's also about the family she's joining.

When to book your newborn session

Newborns are sleepiest and most curled up between 4 and 14 days old, which makes this the ideal time to photograph them. If life gets busy, don't worry. I photograph newborns up to 5 weeks old, and I have three newborn packages to suit different budgets. Parents and siblings are always welcome to be part of the session.
