There's something special about photographing a child through their first year. I've had the joy of capturing Kai's journey right here in Bunbury since he was just a few weeks old, starting with a cosy Christmas session when he was tiny enough to fit in a Santa sack, through a couple of sweet sessions in between, and now — his 8 month milestone session.

Eight months is such a fun stage to photograph. Kai has gone from a newborn to a little person with real opinions, a cheeky grin, and enough strength to sit up tall and reach for everything in sight. This session was all about capturing exactly who he is right now — because in a few short months, he'll be a completely different little human all over again.
