Welcoming a new baby into the world is one of life’s most beautiful milestones, and capturing those first precious days is something families will treasure forever. Baby Daniel Moncrieff visited the studio for his newborn photography session at just two weeks old, the perfect age for those peaceful sleepy poses and curled-up newborn portraits.

Daniel was an absolute dream during his session. At two weeks old, babies are still naturally flexible and sleepy, which allows us to gently pose them in those classic newborn positions that parents love. Wrapped in soft, neutral textures and delicate fabrics, Daniel looked incredibly peaceful while we captured a variety of timeless newborn portraits.

Alongside the posed newborn photographs, we also included beautiful family photos, capturing the love and connection between Daniel and his family. These images are always some of the most meaningful, showing the emotion, joy and pride that come with welcoming a new baby into the family.

The soft styling and neutral colours used throughout the session keep the focus on Daniel and his tiny details – from his little fingers and curled toes to those sweet sleepy expressions that only newborns have. Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first two to three weeks after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and comfortable being gently posed. Daniel’s session at two weeks old was the perfect time to capture these beautiful moments while he was still so tiny.
