Choosing a newborn photography package can feel confusing when every photographer offers something different. Here's a quick FAQ to help you decide which of my three Bunbury newborn session packages fits your family.

Why do you offer different packages instead of one standard session? Because every family's needs are different. Some parents want pure baby portraits, others want to capture that first bonding moment with mum and dad, and some want the whole family — siblings included — documented together. Three packages let each family pay for what they actually want, rather than a one-size-fits-all session.

What's included in the Newborn Only package? Just baby — classic sleepy poses, wrapped and bare-skin shots, and close-up detail images (fingers, toes, lips). It's the quickest session, ideal if you want timeless baby portraits without other people in frame.

What's included in the Newborn and Parents package? Everything in the Newborn Only package, plus dedicated posing time for mum and dad with baby. This is my most popular package, since it captures the moments most parents want on their wall — baby asleep on a parent's chest, that quiet first family portrait.

What's included in the Newborn, Siblings and Family package? The full session — baby, parents, siblings, and any other family members you'd like included, such as visiting grandparents. It takes longer to shoot, since it involves coordinating more people (and often a toddler or two), but it captures the complete story of your baby's arrival.

Why does the price go up with each package? Time and complexity. Adding parents means extra posing and lighting setups. Adding siblings and family means more coordination, more combinations of shots, and working around everyone's patience and nap schedules — not just baby's.

How do I know which package is right for us? Think about what you'd most want printed and framed in five years. Just baby → Package 1. That first photo of you holding your newborn → Package 2.
