As a Bunbury maternity photographer, I get to spend an hour with mums-to-be at one of the most meaningful points in their story. No two sessions look the same — some women want soft, romantic studio portraits in flowing gowns; others want something simple and candid with their partner or their toddler's hands resting on the bump. Both are equally beautiful, and both matter.

A lot of women tell me they feel unsure about being photographed at this stage — tired, swollen, "not themselves." I hear that often, and I always say the same thing: this is exactly the version of you worth capturing. Not the after, not the before — this season, right now, with all the anticipation and love that comes with it.

Maternity sessions in my Bunbury studio typically happen between 28–34 weeks, when the bump is well-defined but you're still comfortable enough to move and pose with ease. I work with soft studio lighting, a range of gowns and wraps available for you to use, and a relaxed pace so there's no pressure — just gentle guidance and plenty of breaks.
